This week we spoke to the US World Vision CEO Richard Stearns about his book, The Hole In Our Gospel. He spoke about how many of us who call ourselves Christians can miss the intention of the gospel message, when we neglect some aspects of what God's called us to do.
He says that some people are all about proclaiming the gospel of eternal life, but forget to include the aspect of social justice - the restoration of God's kingdom and God's love demonstrated here on earth. He said that we can earn our right to share our faith with people by demonstrating tangible acts of love and compassion and concern.
What do you take the gospel to mean?
Have you ever had a time in your life when you realised you didn't have a full grasp of the gospel? You didn't have a full experience or understanding of how Jesus meant us to live?

I am sure that all Gods Children have times where we are not so close to the Gospels Teachings, and for that matter, some times even Jesus's Will for us. It is not that we hold Jesus up, rather we worship Him, give Him the Praise and the Glory, but we do not hold Him Up. In fact He Holds us Up. We are nothing without Him, whom are we that He might Think of us. His Life, His Resurrection, Him at the Right side of God, His Father and His Kingdom to Come. The Gospels Teachers us to examplify His Life and the Gospels prove Him as Jesus the man and Christ the Lord
( in this I mean God, the Lord God ). I have Him failed many times, I am a sinner and prome to temption, He holds out His Hands when we ask for forgiveness and He Forgives us, because of His Life and His scrafice, He Himself on the Cross.
In Him, the Lord Jesus may we Truely Trust,
Masje
