Open Up - Your 'Loaves and Fishes' Experience

Tonight we spoke to author Winn Collier about the feeding of the thousands... That encounter when Jesus asked the disciples "How much bread do you have?" Their answer was - only a few loaves and some pieces of fish. Jesus went on to perform a miracle and use that little amount of food to feed a crowd of thousands.

(...Read it in the Bible, gospel of Matthew, Chapter 15)

The question Jesus asked was profound when you look closely. It gave the disciples a chance to admit their limitations, which in turn allowed Jesus to step in and make up the difference.

Have you had a similar experience? Have you encountered a time when you had to admit to God your lack, or your inadequacy to meet a need or deal with a situation?

In trusting God, did you see Him step in, work a miracle, or make up the difference?

Tell us your story.

Even though that rediculous minister in Gainsville, Florida cancelled his Qu'ran burning, some idiot just burned pages from a Koran on September 11th at the World Trade Center. What a moron. His own five minutes of fame means more to him than good relations with the Muslim people of the world.
