I was driving to work one Thursday morning when a complete Communion message just popped into my head - clear as a bell. Wow, I thought - I'll look forward to sharing that in a few weeks next time I'm on the roster.
That Sunday, just before the service, one of the elders came up to me and said that the person who was to present Communion was sick and could I lead it?
With great pleasure I was able to say that God had given me a message this week and it would be my pleasure to share it! I didn't even have to write anything down - the whole 5 min presentation was still clear in my head.
