Influential Christians of Tomorrow

The world is changing so rapidly, yet if the call of Jesus Christ means anything it means that you and I are called to be transforming agents of change within this world. How can we live up to that challenge? How can we stay ahead of the curve? In essence the question is, What kind of Christian will have influence in the next ten years?

Mal Fletcher is an author, speaker, and director Next Wave International. His specialty is looking at social trends and mapping out how Christians can respond. He spoke to us on Sunday night about the topic of what sort of people Christians need to be to influence their world in the future.

I've just come across this item, and look forward to hearing the podcast; but meanwhile, I find it problematic that people look to grand influencers to continue the Christian discourse. I think it is the small, humble, influences that we (may) have on our friends, our colleagues, our relatives day in day out as we build and respond to relationships with them that is more to the continuation of Christian faith than any big name big event intrusion in people's normal everyday life.
