Would you like to see pornographic magazines removed from newsagent and service station shelves? You can add your voice to the group of prominent child experts who are calling for change.
On Sunday we heard how leading figures such as World Vision head Tim Costello and former Family Court Chief Justice, Alistair Nicholson, are calling for these magazines to be removed from children's view. Julie Gale is the director of the lobby group, Kids Free 2B Kids and she's the driving force behind the new campaign. She spoke to us about why the change is needed.
HOW TO ADD YOUR VOICE:
1) There is a petition going that mums and dads can sign, to see the laws change. It is being run by Catherine Manning's "Say No For Kids" organisation, and is at www.sayno4kids.com/blog/
2) Julie Gale's organisation, leading the charge by getting experts to lobby politicians, is "Kids Free To Be Kids" - Visit this website lots of good info and ways to get active such as donating, voicing complaints, etc. See www.kf2bk.com.
