His bestselling book "Weight Loss for Food Lovers: Understanding our minds and why we sabotage our weight loss", has been published in several countries. He is also the President of the Obesity Prevention & Treatment Society and was invited to present his work at the International Congress on Obesity. He runs workshops for health professionals wanting advanced training in the psychology of weight management and has presented regularly in Australia, NZ and the UK, most recently giving the keynote addresses at the 2009 Diabetes NZ Annual Conference. Along with his wife Penny, a psychologist, he has just written a children's book to help kids avoid the problems that put them at risk for obesity - for more information visit www.foodlovingkids.com, and www.weightlossforfoodlovers.com
